These terms govern your use of www.awakening.bar and any text messaging program operated by Awakening Inglewood LLC ("Awakening", "we", "us", "our"). By using the site or opting in to receive messages from us, you agree to them.

1. Using this website

You may use this site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Content on this site, including text, images, logos, and the Awakening name, belongs to us or our licensors. Menus, prices, and hours are provided for information and may change without notice.

2. Text messaging program terms

We operate two separate messaging programs. Both are opt-in.

2.1 Customer messages

If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send you messages about your order status and, where you have separately agreed, news and offers.

2.2 Employee shift notifications

If you are an Awakening employee and have given written consent, we may send you messages about your own scheduled shifts — for example, a reminder if you have not clocked in for a shift you were scheduled to work, or a request to record the reason for a missed or late shift.

Consent to receive text messages is voluntary and is not a condition of employment or of any term of your employment. Declining, or later opting out, has no effect on your employment.

2.3 Terms applying to both programs

Message frequency. Varies. Customer messages are sent in connection with your order or your subscription preferences. Employee messages are sent only when there is an issue with a scheduled shift, and are typically infrequent.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for the messages; your mobile carrier may.

Opting out. Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message to stop receiving further messages. You will receive one confirmation and then no more. Reply START to resubscribe.

Help. Reply HELP or INFO for assistance, or contact us at (213) 493-3212 or info@awakening.bar.

Carriers. Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.

Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian, and must be the account holder or authorised user of the mobile number you provide.

Your information. Handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

3. Orders and payment

Orders placed with us are subject to availability and acceptance. Prices are shown at the point of sale and include applicable taxes where stated. We may refuse or cancel an order.

4. Disclaimers

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that information on it is complete or current.

If you have a food allergy or dietary requirement, please speak to a member of staff. Information on this site is a guide and should not be relied on as a complete statement of ingredients.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Awakening Inglewood LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or our messaging programs. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site or our messaging programs after a change means you accept the updated terms.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
